Experience of set up of new plant design

12 to 16 years Responsibilities

• Draw up the specifications for the new plant incorporating the site conditions and product needs
• Understand all aspects of the plant requirement like mechanical equipment, electrical, lighting, ventilation, cabling, raw material handling, product movement, product despatch, manufacturing process, utilities and so on.
• Understand and design automation projects within the plants
• Understand and design modifications required in the plants
• Keeping in mind the systems, flows and integration, standardise the specifications and drawings of existing facilities
• List of out specifications of the new plant as per standardized/benchmarked specifications
• Coordinate with design consultant to draw up the blue-print of the new plant

Additional Requirements

• Knowledge of latest manufacturing technologies in the plastics industry
• Experience in having commissioned plants/ manufacturing set-ups in the plastics industry
• Experience in having planned, executed and delivered new plants as per plan and within given timelines
• Relationship with Plant Design Engineering consulting firms
• Detailed understanding of all aspects of plant design including but not limited to lighting, ventilation, cabling, raw material handling, product movement, product despatch, manufacturing process, utilities and so on.
• Knowledge of raw materials
• Knowledge of automation and Industry 4.0
