Design Manager

Role & responsibilities:

• Design should be exactly in line with the contractual agreement with the customer.
• High level of value engg with Indepth thought process in line with the customer PUVs to provide a cost-effective solution.
• The design should be with a practical approach w.r.t Productivity, Quality, Functionality, Flexibility, Rigidity, Maintainability etc.
• The design development and release time should be maintained as per the project timeline and reduced with the repeat/similar projects. The design cost will be measured w.r.t the per manhour cost.
• The items in the BOM should be the latest versions of the bought out's parts alongwith the equivalent makes/models.
• The team should be developed such that there is zero criticality w.r.t skills.
• Fully engaged team should be developed projecting a high level of leadership.

Preferred candidate profile:

• 15 to 20 years in the similar industry with 5 years in leadership position.
• Excellent proficiency in Solid Edge , ERP based processes, Effective Problem Solving , Value Engineering, Finance Awareness.
• Excellent leadership, High Emotional Intelligence, Time Management, Planning, Win-Win Approach.
