  • 8 to 10 years out of which 5 years in Manufacturing
Responsibilities
  • Circulate detailed information for implementation of all new Tax rules and regulations in the company
  • Ensuring on daily basis, along with taxation team members, that documentation, particularly e-invoicing for all outward supplies is being done and to resolve difficulties, queries, omissions along with IT & systems team
  • Circulating list of GST defaulters to divisions by the 22nd of each following month for previous month
  • Checking and taking decision regarding unlocking Bank payment voucher for releasing payments Vendors who are GST defaulters as per division requests
  • Resolving queries pertaining to ailment of ITC (Input tax credit) to ensure that we do not lose any money on that account.
  • Ensuring that GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns and filed on or before the due dates
  • Make Online GST Payments after ensuring liability as per books of accounts
  • Computing, monitoring and making online advance Tax / self-assessment tax payments
  • Make sure that E-Invoicing is perfectly working and customers do not face any problem in taking ITC
  • Responsible for completion of GST Audit / filing GSTR-9 / 9C return before the due date
  • Responsible for timely filing of Tax Audit report and Income Tax return
  • Handling and concluding GST audits / Assessments by GST departments
  • Handling Income tax Assessments and submissions therefore.
  • Keeping all tax related registrations up to date
  • Making GST appeal with the help of consultant and attending personal hearings for conclusion
  • Obtaining Export benefits Such as under RODTeP scheme and utilising the same for custom duty payments to ensure cash benefit
  • Imparting trainings on various Taxation matters to concerned members in all divisions
  • To do Internal Audits of all divisions for Taxation matters. Follow up for closure of NC s
  • Resolving queries, if any with respect to Drawback Claims.
  • Various permissions such as container stuffing etc
  • Updating of Udam Registration
  • Applying and availing benefit of Amnesty schemes, if any
  • Resolving queries raised by the Bank with respect to BRC s (Bank realization certificates) for export proceeds
  • Complying with Legal procedure / GST procedures for storing goods outside Factory
  • Handling all taxation, Sales and receivables related activities for timely completion of statutory audit
  • Timely completion of Income tax audit and filing Income tax returns
  • Calculation and monitoring advance income tax payable on Quarterly / monthly basis and making payment thereof by due dates
  • Monitoring on line TDS defaults reflected on TDS site quarterly and getting them resolved. Also clearing outstanding tax demands arising out of online scrutiny of returns by department
  • DGFT related activities
  • Review of all Tax related ledger reconciliations for appropriate accounting
  • Guiding divisions to resolve e-way bill related difficulties
  • Fixing HSN and GST rates for new Products
  • Based on the yearly reconciliation Publish list of Invoices appearing on our account but not found in our books for appropriate accounting after perusal.
  • Obtaining Income tax refunds
  • Accounting appropriately differences arising out of Tax Audit / Assessment by department after verification
  • Keeping IEC (import export code registration) up to date and mandatory updating of registration every financial year between April-June
  • Applying and obtaining Central / state government Subsidies, if eligible.
  • To calculate re-instatement value of all Machineries, Furniture fixtures, Office equipment etc. based on multiplying factor as per Index given by broker
  • Invite quotes and do the Property insurance on yearly basis and updating all policies on quarterly basis or as & when the valuation goes up
  • Ensuring that adequate marine insurance is taken for imported Machineries and for other consignments that is in our scope. Also wherever necessary domestic transit insurance is taken.
  • Obtaining Insurance Claims from the Insurance company
  • Getting Concessional rate of Custom duty
  • Making additions of new employees / deletions of left employees in the Group personal accident policy & getting the endorsement
  • Various refund claims such as stock declaration claims etc
  • Answering all types of Customs queries referred by division and replying to show cause notices, appearing for PH etc
  • I tax appeals
