Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy and Business Development

    • Identify potential clients, including event organizers, trade associations, and corporate businesses, to promote exhibition space and services.
    • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
    • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to showcase Yashobhoomi offerings.

2. Marketing and Brand Promotion

    • Collaborate on marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and event-based promotions, to increase visibility and lead generation.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, brochures, and content for campaigns.
    • Represent Yashobhoomi at industry events, expos, and networking forums.

3. Client Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, proposals, and contract negotiations.
    • Ensure client satisfaction by addressing feedback and providing tailored solutions.

4. Market Analysis and Reporting

    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to adjust sales strategies effectively.
    • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and client feedback.

5. Collaboration and Coordination

    • Work with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of events secured through sales efforts.
    • Coordinate with the finance team for invoicing, payment follow-ups, and contract management.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Educational Background: Bachelors / Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 03 to 06 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in the exhibitions, events, or hospitality industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales management software.
    • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Results-oriented with a proactive approach to meeting targets.
