Chief - Process

We are hiring for the role of Chief - Process

1. Plant Operations:
   
• Plan and execute daily production based on targets.
• Analyze plant equipment status and work with maintenance teams for predictive maintenance to enhance equipment reliability.
• Address process parameter deviations (e.g., pressure management) and guide corrective actions.
• Review key production parameters, such as brick condition, raw mill fan RPM, and grinding media condition.
• Implement system/process improvements to optimize production and reduce costs, like introducing new technologies.
• Regularly interact with internal stakeholders and occasionally with external vendors and contractors.
2. Process Excellence:
   
• Identify initiatives for optimizing costs and processes.
• Drive initiatives like Six Sigma and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to achieve cost efficiencies and quality improvements.
• Ensure adherence to norms on power utilization, quality, production, and emissions.
• Manage uptime maximization for key plant equipment (e.g., kiln, mill).
• Execute both internal and external projects effectively, ensuring safety and conflict resolution.
3. Employee Engagement & Safety:
   
• Promote a zero-lost-time-accident culture through the strict implementation of safety guidelines.
• Foster a focus on environment, health, and safety.
• Strengthen team engagement and build a positive work environment.

Success Profile:

• Education: B.Tech or Diploma from a Tier 1/Tier 2 college with 25+ years of experience.
• Experience: 15-20 years in process management in a cement or related plant with expertise in plant operations, process optimization, and shutdown/project commissioning activities. Knowledge of tools like Six Sigma and TPM is essential.
• Competencies:
