Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

  • Drive growth by continuously creating and selling customer value propositions for new and existing customers that focus on our competitive advantage while leveraging our broad product portfolio
  • Drive growth to meet or exceed targets and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Develop strong strategic relationships within the customers organization including the senior management team, R&D, QA, Marketing and Procurement etc.
  • Partner cross-functionally within Keva to optimize the product to be offered to customers
  • Maintain high level of awareness of market trends and competitor activity and develops this knowledge into actionable insights
  • Proactively build and manage robust project pipeline through to commercialization
  • Engage and inspire customers to want to partner / do business with Keva
  • Monthly reporting, budget preparation, concept presentation, quality brief generation, effective communication with the customers, updating monthly progress on projects, price negotiation, forming yearly contracts in some cases will be some of the regular activities for this position.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • Minimum 6 years of sales experience gained within the Food and Beverage or Ingredients or Flavours industry (B2B / key account management of large corporate and global accounts).
  • Proven track record of success in business development and account management with
  • Experience of working cross-functionally with R&D, Operations and Finance in an efficient and orderly manner, with well-developed planning and analytical skills, and good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Genuine passion for food, with proven capacity to relay this in all your customer and stakeholder engagements
  • Inspires confidence in our customers. Positively and constructively engages customers to defend/win business for Keva
  • Builds partnerships based on trust and integrity; collaborates to maximize value from cross-functional teamwork
