Job Description

The Human Resource Manager at Kesari is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and managing all human resources functions within the organisation. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Team Lead will play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting the overall growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Talent Acquisition:

    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
    • Coordinate the entire recruitment process, from job posting to on-boarding, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
    • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and align recruitment efforts with organisational goals.

2. Employee Relations:

    • Act as a bridge between employees and management, fostering a positive and communicative work environment.
    • Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
    • Promote employee engagement initiatives to enhance the overall workplace culture.

3. Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and coordinate relevant professional development programs for employees
    • Implement on-boarding processes for new hires and facilitate ongoing training initiatives.
    • Support career development and succession planning efforts within the organisation.

4. Performance Management:

    • Oversee the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees.
    • Implement performance improvement plans as needed and ensure a fair and objective evaluation system.
    • Contribute to the development of performance metrics and KPIs aligned with company goals.

5. HR Policies and Compliance:

    • Develop and update HR policies, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
    • Stay abreast of changes in employment legislation and proactively update policies and procedures accordingly
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to company policies.

6. Compensation and Benefits:

    • Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonuses, and employee benefits.
    • Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive and attractive compensation packages.
    • Administer payroll processes accurately and efficiently.

7. HR Reporting:

    • Generate and analyse HR metrics and reports to provide insights into workforce trends.
    • Present regular reports to the Managing Director and other stakeholders, offering recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration.
  • Masters degree and HR certification are a plus.
  • Proven experience as an HR Team Lead or in a similar HR leadership role, preferably in the travel and tourism industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR initiatives that support organisational goals.
