About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tableau Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing impactful Tableau dashboards, managing Tableau Server environments, and ensuring data literacy and enablement across the organization. You will leverage your expertise in data visualization, server administration, and SQL to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business decisions. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports.

- Utilize advanced Tableau functionalities to create complex visualizations and data stories.

- Apply the art of storytelling to present data insights in a clear and compelling manner.

- Ensure dashboards are optimized for performance and usability.

- Promote data literacy and empower users to effectively utilize Tableau for data analysis.

- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on Tableau functionalities and best practices.

- Manage and maintain Tableau Server environments, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.

- Perform server backups and ensure data recovery capabilities.

- Manage Tableau licenses and user access.

- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures within Tableau Server

- Organize and manage Tableau content, including workbooks, data sources, and projects.

- Implement CI/CD processes for Tableau content deployment and version control.

- Ensure consistency and quality of Tableau content across the organization.

- Monitor and optimize Tableau Server performance.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Implement performance tuning techniques to ensure efficient data processing and visualization.

- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data for Tableau dashboards.

- Develop and maintain database connections and data sources.

- Ensure data accuracy and consistency.

- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.

- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and end-users.

Required Skills :
