About the Role :

As a key member of the product team at Aptos, you will play a pivotal role in building industry-leading Web3 applications and tools that empower developers within the Web3 ecosystem.

You will be the primary advocate for our users, crafting intuitive and engaging experiences that drive adoption and usage of the Aptos platform.

This role requires a deep understanding of Web3 principles, strong UI/UX design skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.

What You'll Be Doing :

- Lead initiatives to design, build, and optimize Web3 products and applications for the Aptos platform, focusing on developer tools and user-facing applications.

- Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on existing products.

- Define and maintain UI/UX design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and scalability.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate user needs and business requirements into compelling designs.

- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for Web3 applications and tools.

- Design intuitive user interfaces that simplify complex Web3 concepts and workflows.

- Develop and implement UI components using modern front-end technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, React).

- Conduct usability testing and analyze user feedback to optimize the user experience.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest Web3 trends, technologies, and best practices.

- Apply your understanding of Web3 principles to create innovative and user-friendly designs.

- Contribute to the evolution of the Aptos platform by identifying and proposing new design solutions.

- Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.

- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.

We're Looking For :

Essential :

- 5+ years of experience building and shipping user-facing products.

- Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, remote environment.

- Proven experience in UI/UX design and systems.

- Demonstrated experience or familiarity with Web3 concepts and technologies (mandatory).

- Background in payments, DeFi, or TradFi (a plus).

- 2+ years of experience leading technical teams (a plus, but not strictly required for a pure design role - clarify this in the interview process).

- Portfolio showcasing Web3 related projects.

- Experience with design tools (e., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
