Power BI & Epicor Developer - Data Visualization & Reporting (3-6 yrs)

Role Overview :

As a Power BI & Epicor Developer, you will play a critical role in helping the company leverage data to make informed business decisions.

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on business requirements.

Additionally, you will work extensively with Epicor ERP software, including developing dashboards and reports, and working with SQL for reporting, views, and queries.

You will collaborate with senior management and clients to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions within set timelines.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights for senior management and key stakeholders.

- Work with business users to gather and analyze requirements for data visualization and reporting.

- Translate complex business data into clear, actionable visualizations that support decision-making processes.

- Ensure the data is accurate, timely, and appropriately visualized using best practices in Power BI design.

- Develop dashboards, reports, and other visualizations within the Epicor ERP system to support business operations.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that Epicor ERP is being used effectively for reporting and business intelligence.

- Integrate Epicor ERP data with Power BI to create comprehensive reporting solutions.

- Provide troubleshooting and optimization for Epicor ERP dashboards and reports.

- Utilize SQL to develop and optimize custom reports, views, and queries from the Epicor ERP database.

- Write complex SQL queries to extract data, perform data analysis, and create reports based on business needs.

- Develop SQL views to organize data for easier consumption by Power BI and Epicor ERP systems.

- Ensure that SQL queries are optimized for performance and scalability.

- Work closely with clients, particularly those based in the UK, Europe, or US, to understand their business needs and requirements for reporting and dashboards.

- Conduct meetings and workshops to gather detailed requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Provide ongoing support to clients by addressing their concerns, questions, and any issues related to Epicor ERP and Power BI dashboards.

- Lead and participate in full life cycle implementations of Epicor ERP and Power BI reporting solutions.

- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet business objectives.

- Provide post-implementation support to clients, ensuring that the reporting systems are running smoothly and addressing any issues or enhancements needed.

- 3+ years of experience working with Epicor ERP, specifically in developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.

- Proven experience in creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

- Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, creating views, and optimizing reports for performance.

- Experience with full life cycle implementation of ERP systems, particularly Epicor ERP.
