Tableau Expert - Data Visualization (5-7 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Tableau Expert with over 5 years of experience, preferably from a consulting background, to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working across multiple business verticals and departments, leading teams, and delivering high quality solutions to customers.

You will play a pivotal role in driving Tableau-based data visualization, reporting, and analytics projects from discovery to delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage Tableau projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery aligned with business requirements and timelines.

- Conduct discovery calls with clients to understand business needs, technical requirements, and expectations, and provide expert consultation on Tableau solutions.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project objectives, KPIs, and success criteria.

- Design and develop high-quality Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on business insights.

- Create and present wireframes to clients, ensuring alignment with project objectives and user needs.

- Lead a team of Tableau developers and analysts, ensuring quality control, adherence to best practices, and meeting deadlines.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and foster a collaborative working environment.

- Perform data analysis and transformation using SQL and Tableau Prep to ensure data integrity and consistency.

- Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure data security, user access, and report scalability.

- Deliver post-implementation support and provide Tableau best practices to clients for ongoing improvements.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Tableau, preferably in a consulting environment.

- Strong expertise in Tableau Server and Tableau Desktop with a deep understanding of data visualization best practices.

- Experience working across multiple business verticals and departments, delivering customized solutions based on business needs.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead teams, manage projects, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality work.

- Ability to conduct discovery calls and provide expert consultation on Tableau implementation.

- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling to transform and integrate complex datasets.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to present and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience creating wireframes and working with clients to refine requirements and deliver impactful solutions.

- Knowledge of Tableau performance tuning, security, and scalability considerations.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Tableau certification (Desktop, Consultant, or others) is a plus.

- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
