Senior Associate - Corporate Law (6-10 yrs)

Our client is a leading law firm which is looking for an Associate/Senior Associate with Corporate Law experience working in a law firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing corporate legal matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing strategic legal advice to the company. This role requires expertise in corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Legal Compliance & Governance: Ensure company compliance with corporate laws, SEBI regulations, Companies Act, and other applicable laws.

- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents, including joint ventures, vendor agreements, and NDAs.

- Mergers & Acquisitions: Provide legal support for M&A transactions, due diligence, and corporate restructuring.

- Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Manage legal disputes, represent the company in legal proceedings, and coordinate with external legal counsel.

- Risk Management: Identify legal risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them.

- Regulatory Affairs: Liaise with government agencies, regulators, and authorities to ensure corporate compliance.

- Corporate Advisory: Provide legal guidance to senior management on business strategies, investments, and operational matters.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized university.

- 6-10 years of experience in corporate law in a law firm

- Strong understanding of corporate governance, company law, and regulatory frameworks.
