Job Summary:
The Concerned Person will be responsible for monitoring and improving collection efficiency across different delinquency buckets. The role involves forecasting and validating collection targets, preparing analytical reports, managing cost and manpower budgets, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance collection performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collection Efficiency & Performance Monitoring
- Monitor bucket-wise collection efficiency and ensure alignment with set targets.
- Analyze achievement vs. targets and take corrective measures where required.
- Track delinquency trends and ensure timely resolution of overdue accounts.
2. Forecasting & Target Setting
- Project and validate monthly, quarterly, and yearly collection targets based on historical trends and business objectives.
- Prepare NPA (Non-Performing Asset) projections to assess risk exposure.
3. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Develop and implement standard collection MIS reports, including:
- Flow rates
- Gross NPA (GNPA)
- Daily bucket-wise collection position
- Delinquency measurement
- Debt Recovery Ratio (DRR) Shortfall analysis
- Prepare and publish business dashboards and collection performance reports for senior management.
4. Collection Strategy & Incentive Design
- Design and implement incentive schemes for collection teams to improve performance and control delinquencies.
- Calculate and process incentive payouts based on predefined criteria.
- Develop and execute collection strategies to enhance overall efficiency and reduce overdue accounts.
5. Budgeting & Resource Planning
- Prepare and manage the cost budget for collections, tracking utilization against allocated funds.
- Develop the manpower budget for the collection unit, ensuring optimal staffing levels in line with portfolio requirements.
6. Performance Improvement Initiatives
- Design and implement collection contests to motivate teams and enhance recovery rates.Identify key problem areas in collections and recommend process improvements.
