Senior Manager - Litigation Cyber Crime

Experience : 5+ years of Professional Experience with a strong background in handling corporate litigation.

Location Mumbai, Andheri, MIDC.

Willing to travel 8-10 days a month (across India) to support legal cases.

Job description:

- Litigation Strategy : Develop and implement strategies for managing litigation cases. effectively, including case assessment, risk analysis, and litigation avoidance where possible.

- Case Management: Oversee all aspects of litigation cases from inception to resolution,. including coordinating with outside counsel, managing discovery processes, and ensuring. compliance with court deadlines.

- Legal Research: Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and. provide guidance on legal issues related to ongoing cases.

- Budget Management: Develop and manage litigation budgets, including forecasting costs,. tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective management of litigation matters.

- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of litigation professionals, including lawyers,. and support staff, to ensure high-quality work product and effective case management.

- Communication: Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders, including senior. management, to provide updates on litigation matters, assess potential risks, and. recommend appropriate courses of action.

- Settlement Negotiation: Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute. resolution processes to achieve favourable outcomes for the organization.

- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. throughout the litigation process.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all litigation matters,. including case files, correspondence, and legal research.

- Exposure to Cyber Crime Case Investigations:.

- Handling cyber cases across different states.

- Experience of dealing with police officials from different POs across the country.

- Experience of visiting cyber crime offices, supreme court and high court.

- Dealing with Sales / Business Heads, Circle Heads for managing local cases.

- Has or managed more than 20 cases in a month of different nature of case investigations.

- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to. effectively communicate complex legal concepts to both legal and non-legal audiences.

- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to. prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes effectively.

- Cyber Crime litigation: Hands on experience in cyber crime, online transaction fraud, OTP. fraud, loan fraud.

- Education: Holds Master's/ Bachelor's Degree in Law from an accredited Law College.

- Analytical or Cyber crime law.

- Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess legal. issues and develop strategic solutions.
