Project Director - Construction (15-18 yrs)

The Project Director for an interior fit-out company is responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, are delivered on time, and remain within budget. This role involves strategic oversight, client interaction, resource allocation, and leadership of project teams. The Project Director ensures projects align with company objectives while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement project strategies and plans to meet company objectives and client requirements.

- Monitor project performance metrics, budgets, and schedules, and ensure alignment with company goals.

- Provide leadership and direction to project managers and teams throughout the project lifecycle.

- Oversee project schedules, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met.

- Ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, addressing concerns and maintaining strong relationships.

- Conduct regular project reviews and presentations to keep clients informed of progress.

- Ensure project budgets are accurately prepared, monitored, and controlled.

- Review cost estimations, procurement plans, and financial reports to ensure profitability.

- Manage project variations and change orders in coordination with the finance and contracts teams.

- Work closely with designers, consultants, contractors, and vendors to align efforts with project goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.

Extensive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the interior fit-out or construction industry.

Proven track record of delivering large-scale fit-out projects on time and within budget.
