Head - Billing (10-15 yrs)

The Head of Billing is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire billing process for an interior fit-out company. This role ensures accurate and timely generation of invoices, monitoring of project progress for billing milestones, and alignment with contracts. The position requires exceptional attention to detail, effective communication skills, and in-depth knowledge of the interior fit-out industry's billing standards and project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and oversee billing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with project contracts.

- Generate, review, and approve invoices based on project progress, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and agreed-upon milestones.

- Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, and quantity surveyors to align billing schedules with project completion stages.

- Ensure all invoices and billing processes adhere to company policies, legal standards, and client agreements.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of billing-related activities, including approvals, change orders, and client communications.

- Act as a liaison between the finance team, project teams, and clients to resolve billing disputes or discrepancies.

- Proven experience in billing, preferably within the construction, interior fit-out, or related industries.

- Strong understanding of project billing, BOQs, and contract management.
