Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Ruby Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for building high-quality, scalable, and efficient web applications using Ruby and Ruby on Rails. Your primary focus will be developing backend components, integrating third-party APIs, and ensuring the best performance and responsiveness of our applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.

- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend services.

- Work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Implement and maintain APIs, third-party services, and database structures.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

- Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.

- Ensure security and data protection best practices are followed.

- Stay updated with the latest Ruby and Rails developments and industry trends.

Requirements :

- Proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails framework.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.

- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite.

- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.

- Experience with version control systems such as Git.

- Understanding of test-driven development (TDD) and testing frameworks like RSpec or MiniTest.

- Familiarity with background job processing (Sidekiq, Resque, etc.).

- Experience with cloud platforms and deployment (AWS, Heroku, Docker) is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular).

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Understanding of microservices architecture.

- Previous experience in fintech, e-commerce, SaaS, or related industries.
