Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with extensive experience in Ruby on Rails to join our development team.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backend technologies and best practices, as well as a passion for creating robust and scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust backend systems using Ruby on Rails.

- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

- Implement security and data protection measures.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.

- Troubleshoot and debug applications.

- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions are current and effective.

Must-Have Skills :

- 2+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Ruby on Rails.

- Strong proficiency in Ruby programming language.

- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how they integrate with Ruby on Rails.

- Experience with RESTful API design and development.

- Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills :
