SEO Specialist For Finance & Banking Industry

We are looking for a highly skilled SEO Specialist to lead and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy aimed at achieving Page #1 dominance for a high-value keyword groups.

The ideal candidate will be well-educated, disciplined, data-driven, and have at least five years of experience in technical and content SEO, and should be proficient in digital PR and authority-building strategies.

This role will focus on improving search engine rankings, increasing brand visibility, and executing cutting-edge SEO strategies across Google, Bing, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Role & responsibilities / Preferred candidate profile

On-Page SEO Optimisation

- Optimise existing articles with targeted keywords, meta descriptions, and headings

- Improve internal linking structure for better "crawl" ability

- Implement advanced schema markup (FAQ, Person, FinancialInstitution, and the usual)

- Enhance Google Featured Snippet potential with structured content

--Technical SEO & Google Search Console Management

- Ensure proper indexing & technical compliance for all content

- Optimize website speed, mobile-friendliness, and Core Web Vitals

- Submit & maintain Google Search Console sitemaps

- Conduct regular SEO audits and fix technical SEO issues

--Authority Building & Link Acquisition

- Develop guest blogging & PR outreach strategy to secure backlinks from publications

- Strengthen Wikipedia & Wikidata citations for Googles Knowledge Graph recognition

- Secure brand mentions in high-authority finance & investment publications

- Optimize LinkedIn & YouTube SEO strategy for organic reach

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

5+ years in SEO & Digital Marketing with a proven track record of keywords used so far.

Experience with SEO for Financial Markets or high-profile business people, HNI individuals would be a great advantage.

-Strong knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, SEMrush, Ahrefs
-Experience with Schema Markup, XML Sitemaps, Mobile SEO
-Proficiency in Google NLP & AI-driven SEO tools

--Content & Authority SEO:
-Expertise in content marketing & keyword optimization
-Ability to develop & execute digital PR & backlink strategies
-Familiarity with Wikipedia editing, Wikidata submissions, and Google Knowledge Graph
