Manager - Accounts

Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our finance team as an Accounts Manager who will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, managing accounting staff, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines along with having 13 years plus Experience of Core accounting.

Role & responsibilities :

Functional

• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Financial and analytical acumen to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• In-depth understanding of Industry specific financial and tax regulations and compliances.
• Well versed with Accounting software's.
• Strategic Planning by providing financial insights that guide decision-making for Higher Management.
• Forecasting Skills in Budgeting, Business decisions and Risk Assessment
• Negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial agreements and maintain smooth financial operations.
• Manage the preparation and coordination of audits and liaise with external auditors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel, for financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Daily review of fund positions
• Familiarity with GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9C)
• Understanding of TDS and TCS return filing
• Expertise in salary preparation
• Management of payables and receivables, including daily outstanding and travel allowance status
• Monitoring and controlling expenses
• Handling the statutory audit process and addressing queries
• Managing income tax scrutiny, TDS scrutiny, and rectification
• Recording provisions and finalization entries
• Preparation and finalization of the balance sheet
• Document preparation and submission for new loans, including coordination with financiers
