Production Supervisor-Foundry

Role & responsibilities

• Production Supervision:
• Assist in monitoring daily production activities in the foundry area, ensuring that work is completed on time and according to specifications.
• Ensure that the production process follows established guidelines and standards.
• Quality Control:
• Support the team in maintaining product quality standards by checking the consistency of casting production.
• Perform inspections on casting parts to ensure they meet design and quality specifications.
• Equipment Handling:
• Learn and assist in operating foundry equipment such as molding machines, and cooling systems.
• Help with the setup, calibration, and maintenance of production equipment.
• Team Coordination:
• Assist in coordinating the activities of production workers to meet daily production goals.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and managers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Safety Compliance:
• Enforce safety protocols and guidelines in the foundry area to prevent accidents and hazards.
• Ensure all team members wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures.
• Process Improvement:
• Participate in identifying opportunities for improving foundry processes and efficiency.
• Provide feedback on the production process and suggest improvements where necessary.
• Reporting:
• Maintain records of production output, machine maintenance schedules, and any issues encountered during the production process.
• Report any deviations or concerns related to the production schedule or quality control to the supervisor.
