Job Description:
We are seeking a Wet Utilities Planner with 5 to 10 years experience, to contribute to the master planning of wet utility systems,.
The candidate will focus on developing strategic plans and providing high-level solutions for wet utilities such including water treatment and distribution, sewer collection and treatment, stormwater management, and drainage networks and green-blue infrastructure within the context of large-scale developments and infrastructure projects.]
Responsibilities:
- Develop master plans for wet utility systems, considering factors such as population growth, land use, environmental regulations, and infrastructure capacity.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing wet utility infrastructure and identify areas for improvement, expansion, or rehabilitation.
- Prepare conceptual layouts and preliminary designs for wet utility systems, focusing on overall system efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other planning disciplines (e.g., transportation, land use) to ensure integrated and coordinated infrastructure development.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other communication materials to effectively convey master planning recommendations to stakeholders.
- Prioritize work to meet project deliverables on time.
- Coordinate with other planning disciplines for quality delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in wet utilities planning.
- Understanding of wet utility infrastructure design principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
