Job Description

Role: Business Analyst - Sales Performance Monitoring

Location : Bangalore

Experience: 7+ years

The Business Analyst primary responsibility is Analyzing and Reporting on Sales Data to help businesses assess and improve sales operations. Work with Sales teams, management, and other services teams to ensure sales targets are met, and performance metrics are optimized.

Key Tasks

Gather and compile data from various sources, CRM systems to analyze the data.
Perform Detailed analysis to identify trends, performance gaps, and areas of improvement.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, including key metrics like revenue margins, discounts etc.
Develop sales Forecast trends
Support Sales team in setting realistic targets and goals
Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in the sales process and propose solutions to streamline operations.
Monitor Sales KPI s and benchmarks.
Offer support in strategy development and decision making based on performance data.
Create interactive dashboards and Viz using Tableau or Power BI.
Helping with MBR s and QBR s presentation

Job Requirements :

Ability to spot patterns and anomalies in sales data.
Problem solving skills to offer solutions to address challenges in sales processes.
Strong working knowledge of master and transactional data - Customers, accounts, partners, products, installed base, opportunities, quoting, orders, service contracts.
Experience with complex data analysis and tools
Must be Expert in data interpretation, manipulation and visualization.
Strong organizational and program management skills, react to changing priorities
Able to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team within and outside CS
7+ years of business experience preferably within a CS environment with Services and Install base, contracts, and renewal business processes.
Hands on experience with CRM applications such as SFDC, SAP, Excel

Education

BA/BS Degree in Business Information Systems, Business Management, Business Administration, Data Science/Analytics or Sales required; advanced degree or certification preferred.
