Job Description
- Cleans and prepares data this involves filtering data, handling missing values, and preparing the dataset for analysis to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Explores and analyses data uses digital tools and techniques to explore and analyse data, identifies patterns, relationships, and trends
- Delivers data for multiple large complex strategic programmes and Identify ways to automate data readiness in partnership with product owner(s) and technology
- Creates visual representations of data findings through charts, graphs, and dashboards to make the data understandable at a glance
- Analyses quality of critical data elements and works with data owners and / or tech partners to ensure data is fit-for-purpose
- Prepares presentations to communicate the insights and findings from the data to project lead and stakeholders, which can influence decision-making processes
- Works with other departments to understand their data needs and help them make informed decisions based on data insights.
- Previous experience in mining large datasets as a data analyst
- Draw valid inferences and present them to management leveraging appropriate tools
- Exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present large complex data sets with precision and thoroughness
- Strong Alteryx and tableau skills, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools
- Good communication and presentation skills to simplify complex data insights for audiences without a technical background
- Self-starter, able to work autonomously, with strong time management skills; efficient at multi-tasking to deliver on-time, to a high standard
- Adept at report writing and presenting findings
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A deep understanding of the industry and business operations is a plus
