Job Description- Engineer/Sr. Engineer- Conveying equipment

(Municipal and Industrial waste/ Solid waste, reuse)

Job Summary:

Engineers in design typically work in an office setting, reviewing specifications and other data to develop product layouts which suit the site requirements. Concept working and design calculation primarily on the screw conveyors as per CEMA 350, support in estimation of product, preparation of the GA, detailed drawings and Bill of Materials for production and maintaining the schedule as per the production plan will be major responsibility. Design expertise of Belt conveyors, bucket elevators, material handling equipment, wheeled trolley is preferred.

Location of the job is at Indore (MP)

Job responsibilities:

- Technical review of tender specifications and layout drawings.

- To ensure product compliance to standards and customer specifications.

- To discuss deviations in the specification with marketing department.

- To carry out design calculations and analysis for given performance parameters

- Prepare the GA drawings & control.

- Prepare Bill of Materials and support the estimation team in costing

- Site visits for the product analysis and dimensioning.

- Measurement, monitoring and improvement of functional and individual performance based on KPI

- Develop systems for tracking submittals, approvals, manufacturing drawings and bill of material issue against orders and report the progress to manager

- Analysis of site issues and resolution/troubleshooting

- Implementing 3D CAD and ERP system

Skill set requirements

- Knowledge of process flow of conveying equipment used for municipal and industrial waste handling system WWTP/STP/CETP.

- Knowledge of process flow of conveying equipment used for sludge and solid waste management, Coal, Ash, Graphite powder, Ores, cement, PET chips etc.

- Mechanical design of equipment with different material, design of supporting structures, selection and usage of different type of drive units.

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes for structural and sheet metal fabrication

- Ability to read and interpret blue print documents

- Knowledge and experience with utilization of CAD/3-D Modeling Software

- Good sketching and concept generation skills

- Ability to understand complex mathematical relationships that underpin mechanical analysis

Qualification requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

- Proficient in CAD (3D and 2D) and ERP system working knowledge

- Previous experience with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Experience

- Minimum 2-5 years of design experience, working with industry manufacturing of material handling equipment, conveyor systems, screw press

- Experience of new product introduction and product development.

- Experience with any ERP system working
