Equipment Maintenance Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new line, Work with engineers to ensure proper setup and integration of the system for production process.

• Ensure the proper functioning of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components within the equipment.

• Identify equipment failure issues, assess the situation, and repair machines as quickly and efficiently as possible.

• Participate in root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

• Provide detailed reports on equipment status, issues encountered, and resolution outcomes.

• Maintain proper maintenance logs for the stations, Update and track service schedules, spare parts, and machine health status.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education - Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics or related field.

• Experience - 1-5 years of experience in maintaining and servicing special purpose machines (SPM) and automation systems.

• Skills

• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMI, robotics, servo, VFDs, sensors, Load cell and various automation components.

• Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, pneumatic circuits and other user manuals.

• Proficient in making reports like RCCA, MTTR, MTBF.

• Written / verbal in English are necessary.
• Ability to document and present technical information clearly.
