Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies focused on expanding our international freight forwarding business. Identify new markets and opportunities to increase revenue.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify, target, and acquire new clients while nurturing existing relationships. Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and provide tailored solutions based on their shipping and logistics needs.
Business Development: Proactively seek out new business opportunities and potential clients through cold calling, networking, industry events, and referrals. Understand client requirements and offer customized freight forwarding solutions.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies to meet sales targets.
Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations with prospective clients, ensuring that contracts are profitable, meet client requirements, and comply with company standards.
Market & Competitor Analysis: Monitor industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities. Use this information to develop strategies to stay competitive and offer superior solutions to clients.
Collaboration with Operations & Logistics Teams: Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of freight services, timely deliveries, and customer satisfaction.
Customer Service & Issue Resolution: Address and resolve client concerns or issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Pricing & Proposal Development: Develop competitive pricing strategies, prepare proposals, and manage quotations for clients. Ensure pricing structures are in line with company profitability goals.
Sales Training & Team Support: Provide guidance and support to junior sales team members. Share industry insights and best practices to foster a collaborative sales environment.
Event Representation & Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows. Network with potential clients and stay informed about industry developments.
Must have experience working freight forwarding or shippin lines.
Location - Delhi, Hyderabad.
