Core Responsibilities

• To ensure 100% compliance accuracy and timeliness in filing tax returns as per local, state, and federal regulations.
• To stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
• To develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the organization's tax position.
• To provide proactive advice on potential tax risks and opportunities.
• Prepare various representations for submission to the Department
• Analyze impact of the Act/Law in our business
• To conduct financial analysis to assess the tax implications of business decisions.
• To collaborate with finance and accounting teams to integrate tax considerations into financial planning.
• To prepare and review tax provisions and financial statements.
• To ensure accurate and transparent tax reporting in accordance with accounting principles.
• To work closely with internal and external clients to understand their tax-related needs and provide strategic solutions.
• To serve as a subject matter expert on taxation matters during client engagements.
• To collaborate with auditors during tax audits to provide documentation and explanations as needed.
• To address and resolve tax-related audit issues.
• To stay informed about industry trends, changes in tax laws, and best practices.
• To participate in professional development opportunities to enhance tax expertise.

Skills

• Experience in ERP like oracle.
• Experience in Compliance w.r.t Transfer Pricing, Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAA), Country by Country (CBC) Filing
• Proficient in Excel
• Ability to partner with other department heads to drive business forward.
• Very strong in excel, data base management.

Strong presentation skills
