Inventive Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (ISSPL) is a well-established company operating in power utility domain across India.

We specialize in Metering, Billing, RMS, MRI analysis for Electricity, Water and Gas domains. ISSPL is looking for suitable candidate for the role of Business Analyst.

Preference:

• Should be of electrical domain.
• Should have knowledge of metering, billing and meter data analysis project
• Can understand smart meter, HES and MDM
• Can make BRD
• Create traceability matrix, Can do IAT and UAT
• Should be comfortable with travel and relocation
• Sound with computer basics, like excel, MS word and PowerPoint
• Identify goals, develop best practices for data collection, and analyze current processes to determine what can be improved to achieve their desired outcome.
• Capability of Presenting ideas and findings in meetings.
• Must have experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business.
• Strong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Build a relationship between business partners and the IT department relative to requirements, solutions and priorities.
• Develop requirement documentation that will translate business needs into requirements that can be understood by the solution development team
• Participate as needed in IT design reviews to ensure compatibility and interoperability of computing systems. Develop a knowledge of system capabilities and functions of assigned application software. Use this knowledge to recommend optimal solutions to business requirements that best leverages the product.
• Provide advice and recommendations on emerging trends
• Maintaining, testing and improving business and systems operations.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
• Identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities.
• Identifying innovative ways to increase customer satisfaction.
• Evaluating the performance of project teams to ensure that targets and deadlines are met.
• Provide advice and consultation to other more junior Business Analysts on more difficult and complex assignments and implement ways to reuse requirements across projects
• Ensure that proposed system features and requirements meet user needs and satisfy business objectives and initiatives
• May assist in creation and implementation of test plans that are mapped to documented requirements.
• Identifying and addressing operational, financial and technological risks within the business.
• Proven experience in AT&C loss reduction, Meter Reading & Billing Analytics, metering solutions, energy auditing, revenue etc.
• Perform and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and/or BETA presentations as required on department related projects
• Supervising the design of new products and evaluating how these will perform on the market.
• Creating monthly performance reports.
• Create training and system documentation, and conduct training sessions as necessary
• Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others.

Qualification and Skills

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Field or any related field.
• 0-8 experience as business analyst.
• Proven training in Business Process Modeling.
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Access is advantageous.
• The ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
