Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven International Business Development Manager to drive global expansion in the corporate learning space. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in B2B sales, international business development, and revenue generation within the Learning & Development (L&D) sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to identify business opportunities, build strong partnerships, and drive revenue growth across international markets.



Key Responsibilities


  • Revenue Growth & Business Expansion: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market presence and drive revenue growth in global markets.
  • B2B Sales & Client Acquisition: Identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers in corporate L&D, HR, and procurement departments.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Establish alliances with global enterprises, training providers, and industry stakeholders to enhance market reach.
  • Lead Generation & Conversion: Proactively identify prospects, generate leads, and convert them into long-term business relationships.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Understand client training needs and provide tailored learning solutions that align with their corporate objectives.
  • Negotiation & Deal Closure: Lead high-value negotiations, close deals, and oversee contract execution.
  • Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Analyse industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities to refine sales strategies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and delivery teams to ensure seamless client engagement and execution.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate sales pipeline reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience in B2B international business development, sales, or revenue generation within the Corporate Learning industry.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in acquiring global enterprise clients and consistently achieving/exceeding revenue targets.
  • Global Market Expertise: Strong understanding of corporate learning trends and training needs across diverse industries.
  • Sales & Negotiation Skills: Expertise in driving sales, managing complex negotiations, and closing high-value contracts.
  • Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Zoho), sales automation, and digital learning platforms.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess market opportunities, analyze data, and develop action plans to drive growth.
