Job Overview:

We are hiring a Pricing Operations Specialist with expertise in freight pricing, rate negotiations, and market analysis for the US-Canada trade lanes. The ideal candidate should have 1-6 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics operations, or pricing management. This role requires strong analytical skills, vendor coordination abilities, and proficiency in Excel and freight management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage pricing strategies for US-Canada freight forwarding operations.
• Negotiate competitive freight rates with carriers, brokers, and vendors.
• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and cost structures to optimize pricing strategies.
• Prepare, review, and maintain rate sheets, pricing proposals, and cost analysis reports.
• Work closely with sales and operations teams to provide accurate and timely pricing information.
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations and company policies in pricing and rate management.
• Utilize freight management systems and tools to streamline pricing operations.
• Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in all pricing and rate-related documentation.
• Adapt to a fast-paced work environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 1-6 years of experience in pricing, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
• Expertise in US-Canada trade lanes and cross-border shipping requirements.
• Strong negotiation skills with experience dealing with carriers, vendors, and logistics partners.
• Proficiency in Excel (data analysis, rate calculations) and freight management tools (preferred).
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to track industry trends and competitor rates.
• Knowledge of cross-border trade regulations and compliance.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in pricing operations.
• Willingness to work night shifts (6:30 PM 3:30 AM IST).
