Job Summary
About You…
To be successful in this role you must have 10+ years of experience in the Savoury Ingredient Industry in a Senior NPD role with commercial exposure. If you have not worked in roles creating savoury products and helping to drive business growth previously, this role may not the best fit for you.

Job Requirements
As the Culinary Technology Manager, you’ll spend your time….
· Using your deep understanding to leverage the TASTEPOINT culinary strategy, organization, capabilities, proprietary technologies, resources, product and service offerings.
· Along with the Account Managers, lead the team to create, present and execute TASTEPOINT customer and business strategic, must win projects, ensuring deadlines & project requirements are met, driving the team for results.
· Travel to key customers across UK/I to support Commercial, Marketing and Creation/Design teams to forge strong relationships and realise customer and Tastepoint’s full potential.
· Be the Regional Culinary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for TASTEPOINT customers. Understand customer strategy, organization, capabilities, products, cost constraints and processing methods.
· Position TASTEPOINT as a strategic trusted partner by co-creating winning value propositions that satisfy customer needs.
· Be the face of TASTEPOINT – act as one of the lead contacts for customers in the region. Develop deep customer relationships with NPD at all levels, through intensive networking and providing best in class products and service.
· Lead cross functional and cross-cultural teams through complex, technically challenging projects.
· Identify/create new business opportunities for TASTEPOINT and work alongside the TASTEPOINT teams to develop and execute plans to generate project plans to deliver results.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology or similar subject with 10+ years of experience in a savoury food ingredients/systems related industry is required.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills with the ability to lead and coordinate activities with internal support team and customers. Inspires others by acting as a leading example.
· Knowledgeable of industry trends, companies, technology, and displays passion for food and flavours.
· Confident, dynamic and enthusiastic professional with ability to generate trust by delivering on commitments
· Organised, detail oriented, flexible and dedicated to achieving results.
· Possess the ability to lead multi-cultural teams.
