International Education Advisor (IEA)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated, ambitious, enthusiastic and dynamic result oriented professional with experience from same industry to join our dynamic team. The Senior International Education Advisor (IEA) plays a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership and expertise in international education initiatives and programs. This position focuses on advising and supporting students, faculty, and staff on matters related to international education, including study abroad programs, student exchange agreements, and international partnerships.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for international education programs and initiatives aligned with our goals.
• Knowledge of complex U.S and Europe visa and immigration procedures, compliance issues, and employment eligibility/authorization for international students and scholars.
• Advise students & parents on study abroad opportunities, scholarships, federal immigration laws and funding sources.
• Provide guidance on academic planning, course selection, and credit transfer policies for international education programs.
• Assist students in navigating visa regulations, health insurance requirements and cultural adjustment.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with international partner institutions, organizations, and government agencies.
• Promote international education opportunities through presentations, workshops, and information sessions.
• Ensure compliance with international education regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to health, safety, and security for students participating in international programs.
• Monitor and report on program outcomes, student satisfaction, and success metrics.
• Stay informed about trends and best practices in international education and student mobility.

Preferred Candidate:

• Good Business Acumen
• Demonstrated knowledge of international education policies, procedures, and regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Proficiency in foreign languages and familiarity with international travel logistics (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
