Job Description
- Responsible for release of production orders to shop floor based on material availability and manufacturing lead times. Plan and prioritize operations to ensure, maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Works with Production, Purchasing, Sales and other departments to discuss status, problem solve, and expedite critical path solutions.
- Responsible for timely FG dispatch of the material to customers so that there is no Time or QTY defaults.
- Coordinate with the Sales team to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Responsible for understanding the customer specific requirements and making arrangements for meeting it.
- Analyzes sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements
- Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
- Manages inventory levels, schedules and availability of selected item, either manufactured or purchased, to meet production schedule
- Import material planning and release of the schedule to suppliers.
- Responsible for daily and timely updation of the FG stock to the Customer, Upline and escalating the critical items.
- Responsible for Packing development and packing std approval.
- Responsible for assiting in the Budget Preparation.
- Disposition of obsolete and/or surplus materials.
- Achieving required inventory turns/ IQR ratio by carefully managing R/M acquisitions.
- Keeps visual boards updated in plant and updates daily inventories
