Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand our footprint in Singapore across the luxury lifestyle, hospitality, and corporate gifting sectors. The ideal candidate will focus on developing strategic partnerships with premium lifestyle stores, malls, hotels, restaurants, and high-net-worth individuals, while also targeting bulk supply opportunities for home fragrances and toiletries in the hospitality industry. This role demands a deep understanding of the luxury market to maintain and elevate the brand's premium image.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to achieve revenue goals in Singapore.
- Cultivate and close deals with high-net-worth individuals, luxury retail partners, and corporate clients.
- Identify bulk supply opportunities for home fragrances and toiletries in hotels, restaurants, and the hospitality industry.
- Target clients for corporate gifting and promote the brand as the preferred choice for premium gift solutions.
2. Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential luxury clientele, emerging trends, and competitors.
- Develop strategic business development plans aligned with the brand's luxury positioning.
- Provide market insights and recommendations for product adaptation and pricing strategies.
3. Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in luxury brands, retailers, distributors, and hospitality chains.
- Personalize sales presentations to showcase the unique value proposition of the brand's offerings.
- Foster long-term partnerships with hospitality chains, event organizers, and corporate buyers.
4. Brand Representation:
- Act as the brand ambassador at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to showcase the product range and generate leads.
- Ensure adherence to luxury brand standards to deliver consistent, high-level customer experiences.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns for the luxury market.
5. Corporate Gifting and B2B Solutions:
- Create and execute campaigns to promote corporate gifting packages to businesses.
- Partner with procurement teams to position the brand for large-scale corporate and hospitality orders.
6. Operations and Logistics:
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure the timely delivery of bulk orders and seamless client experiences.
- Oversee product placement and merchandising in luxury retail stores and hotels.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record in luxury sales, business development, or key account management.
- Extensive network within the high-end retail, hospitality, and corporate sectors.
- Strong understanding of luxury market trends, consumer behaviour, and industry dynamics.
- Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
- Experience managing sales pipelines and meeting revenue targets.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of local language is an advantage.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Travel Requirement:
- Willingness to travel extensively across the Singapore to engage with clients and expand market presence.
