Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager will lead growth initiatives and drive business expansion efforts within Mumbai and the Western India region.
The role focuses on identifying opportunities, fostering relationships with industry stakeholders, and achieving sales targets to solidify PropChk's leadership in the property inspection space.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development:
- Identify, target, and engage with potential clients, including developers, real estate companies, and contractors, in Mumbai and Western India.
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to maximize revenue and market penetration.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with clients, offering customized solutions to address their property inspection needs.
- Act as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring consistent client satisfaction and retention.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to uncover new opportunities and strengthen PropChk's market positioning.
- Provide actionable feedback to the management team regarding service enhancements and market demands.
Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Exceed sales targets by developing robust pipelines and managing relationships effectively.
- Deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches tailored to client requirements.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work collaboratively with internal teams (operations, customer success, and technical) to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for lead generation campaigns, promotional activities, and regional events.
Reporting & Metrics:
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, performance metrics, and client interactions.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on business development efforts, challenges, and achievements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably in real estate, construction, or property inspection services.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed sales and revenue targets.
- Strong network within Mumbai's real estate and construction markets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and market research skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required within Mumbai and neighboring regions
