We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tender Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of bidding for tenders on various government portals, with a primary focus on the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal. As a Tender Executive, you will play a crucial role in securing government contracts and expanding our business opportunities in the public sector.
Preferred Experience: 2-3 Years in successful handling of GEM and other Portals.
Preferred Education: Bachelors or Masters in Commerce / Management / Marketing / MBA
Job Accountabilities
Tender Identification and Analysis:
Regularly monitor government tender portals, including GEM and other relevant platforms, to identify suitable bidding opportunities.
Evaluate tender documents to understand project requirements, scope, terms, and conditions.
Bid Preparation:
Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for bid preparation, including technical, financial, and operational.
Prepare and compile comprehensive bid documents ensuring compliance with all specified requirements.
Develop competitive pricing strategies while maintaining profitability.
Documentation:
Maintain an organized repository of all bid-related documents, communications, and correspondences.
Complete all required forms and paperwork accurately and within specified deadlines.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all bids are submitted in accordance with the specified guidelines and timelines.
Conduct quality checks on bid documents to eliminate errors and inconsistencies.
Stakeholder Communication:
Liaise with government authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to clarify bid-related queries and ensure smooth communication throughout the bidding process.
Market Research:
Stay updated on industry trends, government procurement policies, and competitor activities to enhance the effectiveness of bid submissions.
Negotiation and Presentation:
Participate in pre-bid meetings and presentations, showcasing the organization s capabilities and solutions to potential clients.
Engage in negotiations with clients as required to address queries and finalize terms.
Post-Bid Activities:
Follow up on submitted bids, gather feedback, and analyze reasons for success or failure.
Maintain a database of bid outcomes and contribute insights to improve future bidding strategies.
