As a business development manager you ll be concerned with improving and growing a business, by fostering and developing relationships with customers, suppliers and other partners. You may work to improve profitability through careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, or to enhance the operation of the business, position or reputation in some way.
Responsibilities
3 to 5 years of experience in Educational/IT Software or Training Sales.
Identify and create new business & channel partnership opportunities to maximize revenue and growth.
Proven success in Marketing and closing deals is necessary.
To supervise promotional activities & implement marketing initiatives.
Managing and liaising with institutions to increase the coverage and keeping up to date with the regulations pertaining to colleges.
Planning and implementation of new delivery strategies in parallel with the client requirements and driving to the achievement of the same.
Conduct Prospecting and Lead Follow Up from Marketing Activities as Required.
Consultative selling of Training enterprise solutions to institutions; mapping customer s requirements the portfolio of offerings from the company.
Qualifications
Graduate/Engineer/MBA with 3-5 years of experience selling technology/training solutions.
Required Skills
Ability to negotiate to close Knowledge of the educational segment in India, particularly higher education. Knowledge of corporate learning market will be an additional advantage Ability to independently prepare proposals and responses to IRP Target audience is mostly Engineering and MBA colleges across India Technical skills to demonstrate Training enterprise solutions
