The Quality Control Executive is responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the established quality standards. This role involves overseeing the entire production process, performing tests, conducting inspections, and addressing quality issues to guarantee high-quality outputs and customer satisfaction. The Quality Control Executive will collaborate with various departments to implement quality management systems, troubleshoot problems, and maintain regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections and tests on products, materials, and processes to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines for the production process.
Monitor production lines and identify any deviations from quality standards.
Coordinate with the production, engineering, and other teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Analyze test results, document findings, and report non-conformities.
Maintain quality control records and documentation as per company and industry standards.
Perform audits of production processes and systems to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Provide training to staff on quality control processes and procedures.
Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product quality and suggest improvements
Desirable Skills:
Certification in quality control (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt).
Experience in using quality management software and ERP systems.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to quality issues.
Work Environment:
Office-based with occasional visits to production sites or warehouses.
Fast-paced and detail-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality control or related roles.
Strong understanding of quality standards (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.) and methodologies.
Proficient in using quality control tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and inspection software.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement techniques is a plus.
