Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee our Mobility and Freight Solutions to cater to the Freight Mobility Sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the development and deployment of sustainable and efficient mobility solutions, particularly in rail transportation and intelligent traffic systems. This role requires a strategic mindset with strong leadership, analytical, and communication abilities.

Additionally, you will be responsible to build & lead the Mobility Solutions Competency Practice offering for Domain consulting group, formulate GTM strategies and Automation levers.

The ideal person should have 6 to 10 years extensive domain consulting and/or industry experience.

Required Skillsets

1. Experience of working in Freight, Railroad transportation & signaling system domains.

2. Experience in Operations, Maintenance or Manufacturing for Freight, Railroad transportation & signaling system domains.

3. Worked on implementation of Digital IT solutions in Mobility & Freight management domains.

4. Expertise in Traction systems, Mobility solutions, including Rail transportation and intelligent traffic systems.

5. Strong understanding of freight & mobility domain trends and challenges.

6. Knowledge of latest IT technologies and their implementation into freight & mobility systems.

7. Strong understanding of sustainability practices in transportation.

8. Experience with project management and deployment of mobility solutions.

9. Proven ability to manage projects effectively, on time, and within budget.

10. Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams.

11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Work on client assignments, typically large transformational IT programs, as an individual contributor and/or as a lead of junior consultants

2. Collaborate with mobility / freight domain clients to understand their needs and design appropriate digital solutions.

3. Lead the development and implementation of freight / mobility related digital IT solutions.

4. Document business processes of freight / mobility solutions, assessing the business model or its integration with technology.

5. Work closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders in preparing Product Backlog items

6. Prepare user stories, prepare acceptance criteria for user stories and manage backlog.

7. Drive business workshops to define requirements, develop product backlog and elaborate functional specifications for an IT solution.

8. Engage with client business, IT, as well as with internal Infosys stakeholders throughout the phases of a program from planning through proposing a solution and implementation

9. Experience in Business Process Consulting (i.e. any systems in particular), Problem definition, Case and workflow design, Detailing of Processes, Process modelling

10. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and sustainability practices.

11. Work with Infosys sales team to lead or drive business / functional content in client pursuits in mobility / freight domain

12. Drive thought leadership initiatives by contributing PoVs, Whitepapers, etc.

Qualifications

Skill sets requirement are as follows

1. Bachelors degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Transportation, Freight, Signaling, or related field.

2. Post Graduation in Management or equivalent is a plus

3. 6+ years of experience in mobility & freight solutions.

4. Additional certifications in any mobility/ freight solutions
