We are looking for a Mainframe Senior developer responsible for building Mainframe applications.

Your primary responsibility will be to create user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining mainframe based components and interfaces, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.

Primary skills Required: Mainframes, COBOL, PL/1, CICS, JCL, DB2

Tools: IBM Rational tools (IDz, RDz, RBD, RTC)

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing user requirements, envisioning system features and functionality.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable mainframe codes by setting expectations and features priorities.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development
• Contributing to team meetings, troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms
• Understand Architecture Requirements and ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities
