Mainframe Developer - Lead/Senior

We are seeking experienced Mainframe Senior Developer and Lead Developer with strong technical expertise in PL1, COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS. The ideal candidates will work on critical projects, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality deliverables in the mainframe domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using PL1, COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
• Perform analysis, debugging, and optimization of mainframe applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, performance benchmarks, and best practices.
• Lead technical discussions, mentor junior team members, and manage project timelines (Lead Developer role).

Primary Skills Required

• Mandatory:
• Expertise in PL1, COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in debugging and performance tuning of mainframe applications.
• Optional but Preferred:
• Knowledge of program management and team leadership for Lead Developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience for Senior Developer role.
• 7+ years of experience with leadership capabilities for Lead Developer role.
