Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Developer with expertise in CICS and COBOL to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in mainframe development, along with a solid understanding of core mainframe technologies.

Experience in DB2 and support is considered a plus.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain mainframe applications using CICS, COBOL, DB2, VSAM and JCL.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements to existing applications.

- Perform code reviews, debugging, and unit testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the developed software.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to mainframe applications in a timely manner.

- Document technical specifications, user manuals, and release notes for developed applications.

Requirements :

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in mainframe development, with a strong focus on CICS, COBOL, JCL, DB2 and VSAM.

- Proficient in coding, debugging, and testing mainframe applications.

- Solid understanding of mainframe architecture and core technologies.

- Familiarity with mainframe support processes and procedures.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
