Java Developer

Location: Bangalore

Contract: Initial 3 Months

Qualifications and Experience:

• B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from a reputed college.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java.
• Knowledge of Node.js is a plus.

Technical Skills and Responsibilities:

• Proficient in Java 8, Spring Boot, and multithreading, with strong debugging skills.
• Expertise in building RESTful APIs with monitoring, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Elastic Search, including creating queries using templates and managing data nodes effectively.
• Proficiency in RDBMS (MySQL, Redis, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, SNS, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with shell scripting, Unix commands, and setting up cron jobs.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.

Tools and Development Practices:

• Proficient in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, and GIT.
• Familiarity with TDD (Test-Driven Development) using JUnit 5.
• Experience with Eclipse IDE for development.
• Hands-on experience with SonarQube for code quality and resolving programming defects.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and enthusiasm to learn new skills and take initiative.
