Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Work Mode: Work from Office (WFO)
Shift Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply management, contract management, and the end-to-end procurement process from Purchase Request (PR) to Purchase Order (PO), and through to receipt of goods/services. This role demands someone with strong process excellence, techno-commercial knowledge, and expertise in tactical purchasing.

• Supply & Contract Management: Manage the overall procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services. Handle contract management, negotiations, and vendor relationships.
• PR to PO Cycle: Oversee the process of converting Purchase Requisitions (PRs) into Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring all procurement steps are compliant with company policies.
• Procure to Receipt: Ensure that the procurement process is effectively managed from requisition through to the receipt of goods/services, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Tactical Purchasing: Identify and address tactical purchasing needs, ensuring operational efficiency and cost optimization.
• Process Excellence: Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes for better efficiency, cost control, and supplier performance.
• Techno-Commercial Skills: Apply technical and commercial knowledge to procurement decisions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and maximizing value for the organization.
• Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to procurement policies and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on procurement activities.

• Experience: 0 to 12 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or contract management roles.
• Education: Any graduate (Preferably in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering).
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management. Knowledge of the PR to PO cycle and Procure to Receipt cycle.
• Skills:
  • Tactical purchasing and process excellence.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Techno-commercial acumen to assess supplier capabilities and manage procurement strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex procurement challenges.
  • Proficient in procurement software and MS Office Suite.

• Immediate to 30 days notice period preferred (up to 60 days possible).
• Proven track record in procurement roles within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
