Test Lead

JD for Performance testing.

The Performance Lead / Senior Lead is responsible for providing end to end performance testing leadership and solutions while working within a cross-functional team environment of onshore and offshore team members. The Lead handles designing and developing the performance test strategy and ensuring quality development of performance test scripts and tests. The Lead will be involved with troubleshooting performance issues, root cause analysis, and primarily driving issues to appropriate resolutions.

Roles and Responsibilities -

Need to drive a project and take ownership of Performance testing deliverables.

Monitor existing processes and continue to improve/streamline them to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Create Performance Test Strategy and Plan for proper application test coverage and to meet performance test objectives

Reporting and escalating issues related to application or commitment risks to stakeholders

Identify/Propose Framework & tools for Performance and Automation

CI/CD Pipeline setup for performance testing along with DevOps team

Performing Workload Characterization and defining the workload mix and targets from analytics

Estimation to driving the definition of the test cases supporting the testing of NFRs.

Lead the analysis of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.

Detailed Performance and final summary report

Able to work on UI and API Automation testing whenever needed

Required Skills -

Good hands-on experience on Performance testing tools like - Neo Load, JMeter, BlazeMeter, LoadRunner and Spunk is must.

Working experience on Cloud by using NeoLoad or any one of the Open-source tools.

Good hands-on experience on UI and API testing.

Good knowledge / experience on DB like SQL.

Good hands-on experience on WebSocket application performance testing like SMS, Audio, Video and Email.

Expert in Analysis tools like - New Relic, Dynatrace, Prometheus and Grafana, etc

Should have strong knowledge in microservice based architecture

Experience and knowledge with Cloud Infrastructure - particularly AWS, Azure

Good knowledge of any programming language (Java, Python etc. )

Experience using various tools and technologies such as JIRA, Confluence, Gitlab, Rally etc.

Depth knowledge in software and hardware optimization

Good understanding of Kubernetes based environments.
