Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS)
HIDs Physical Access Control Solutions Business Area:
HID PAC s Business Unit focuses on the growth of new clients and existing clients where we leverage the latest card and reader technologies to solve the security challenges of our clients. Other areas of focus will include authentication, card sub systems, card encoding, Biometrics, location services and all other aspects of a physical access control infrastructure.

Roles Responsibilities:
Automation Scripting: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium and Java.
Framework Development: Build and enhance automation frameworks from scratch or using existing tools and frameworks like TestNG, Maven, or JUnit.
Test Case Execution: Plan, execute, and maintain automated test cases for functional and regression testing of mobile apps.
Integration: Integrate the automation suite with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or other CI/CD pipelines.
Defect Management: Work closely with the development team to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects by analyzing test failures.
Test Coverage: Ensure high test coverage for critical features and functionalities across different mobile platforms (Android/iOS).
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and other QA team members, to understand application requirements.
Reporting: Generate test reports and provide detailed feedback to stakeholders on testing progress, coverage, and quality metrics.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in the mobile automation environment, including device connectivity and test execution issues
Technical Requirements: QA Engineer Resource Skill Set:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in mobile automation (iOS and Android) testing with Appium.
Programming: Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Java-based testing frameworks (TestNG, JUnit).
Mobile Platforms: In-depth understanding of Android and iOS platforms, including emulator/simulator setup.
CI/CD Tools: Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo, etc.
Version Control: Proficiency in version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket.
API Testing: Familiarity with tools like Postman or REST Assured for API testing is a plus.
Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with development and business teams.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a mobile testing environment.
Education and/or Experience:
B.E/B. Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology
8+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation.
