Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning & Test Case Design:
- Review business requirements and design functional test cases.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans that cover all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create detailed test cases for various CPQ processes, such as configuring products, pricing, and generating quotes.
Test Execution & Reporting:
- Execute manual test cases based on the project s requirements.
- Conduct end-to-end testing for Salesforce CPQ processes, such as product configuration, pricing rules, quote generation, and discounting workflows.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA.
- Report testing results, defects, and issues to development teams and stakeholders.
Integration & Regression Testing:
- Conduct integration testing to ensure smooth interaction between Salesforce CPQ and other Salesforce modules (e. g. , Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) or third-party applications.
- Perform regression testing to verify that updates and changes to the system don t negatively impact existing functionalities.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support:
- Support end-users during User Acceptance Testing by helping them understand the new features and capturing any feedback or issues they may encounter.
Documentation:
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation for test cases, test execution results, and known issues.
- Provide recommendations for improving testing processes and product quality.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and Salesforce administrators to understand requirements and business logic.
- Communicate with project stakeholders and provide feedback on issues and improvements.

Skills and Qualifications:

Salesforce Knowledge:
- Understanding of Salesforce CPQ functionality, including product configuration, pricing, quote templates, and approval processes.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning and Classic interfaces.
Testing Tools:
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, .
- Knowledge of bug-tracking tools like JIRA.
Manual Testing Skills:
- Strong skills in test case creation, test execution, and defect reporting.
- Ability to thoroughly test user interfaces and validate business processes.
Understanding of Business Processes:
- Knowledge of business and pricing processes, including product bundles, pricing rules, discounting, and quoting workflows.
Communication Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to report on test status, defects, and improvements.
