Manager - Airside works , Permits

Shall be responsible for the conduct of Airside Operations on a daily basis as per the established procedures and in a smooth and most efficient manner to ensure optimum performance and without compromising safety and in compliance with DGCA CAR section 4 Series B Part I, Doc 9137 and Doc 9157 and other AD AC Circulars.

1. Inspections

1. Ensure Runway/manoeuvring area inspections as mandated.
2. Ensure Apron and perimeter inspections as per SOP.

• Minimum 4 Runway inspections in a day.
• Minimum 1 perimeter inspection in each shift, apron inspections every 2 hours while on duty, inspection of GSE area atleast once in every shift and filing of the report once in each shift. Timely generating of RCR whenever there is significant change and its timely forwarding to ATC.

• All GNIAL Functional Team like IT/Procurement/Commercial BD/ HR, MAG, Project Management Team, CR, etc

• Project Engineering Maintenance

• Support effective management of AOP/Budget
• CAPEX / OPEX demand / preparation.

• Interaction with various internal and external agencies for smooth conduct of Airside Operations and set industry best standards and safety on airside

• Graduate from any recognized University

(Ex-Servicemen with equivalent service qualification with additional specialization relevant to Airside Operations conducted by reputed organization (I.e. Indian Air Force, Indian Aviation Academy, GMR Academy)

• Relevant exposure to Airside Operations / ATC /Emergency handling / Stakeholder engagement.
• Certification from any recognized institutes/organization like Indian Aviation Academy, GMR Academy, India Airforce etc., in Airside Operations.

• 10-15 years of minimum experience in handling Airside Operations of any civil airport/ Defence airfields.
• Proficient in Aerodrome Design Operations, ICAO documents and DGCA CAR with special knowledge on Annex 14, Doc 9157, Doc 9137, Doc 9859 and DGCA CAR Sec 4 series B pat I, Aviation and airport industry standards, policies, practices, and rules.
