Responsibilities:
Portfolio Roadmap Development & Execution:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio roadmap for the Credit and Lending area, aligning with strategic business objectives.
- Drive the execution of the roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of projects and initiatives.
Business Requirements & Functional Specifications:
- Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements (BRD) and functional requirements (FRD) for complex projects.
- Create clear and concise use cases and user stories to facilitate effective communication and development.
Business Transformation & Process Improvement:
- Lead business transformation initiatives by identifying and analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing innovative solutions.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Credit & Lending Expertise:
- Leverage deep domain knowledge of Credit and Lending processes, including loan origination, underwriting, servicing, and risk management.
- Understand and analyze data and process flows related to credit and lending model implementation.
Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Manage the project approach, develop project plans, and build stakeholder buy-in around project commitments and changes.
- Support the management of project scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, communications, and budget.
- Manage, monitor, and report on project progress, issues, dependencies, and risks to portfolio leads, internal stakeholders, and steering committees.
- Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks and risks.
Decision Support & Recommendations:
- Analyze data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Develop and present recommendations to influence decision-making and ensure progress towards delivery and benefits realization.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, preferably within commercial banking.
- Proven experience in developing and documenting BRDs, FRDs, use cases, and user stories.
- Strong understanding of business transformation principles and methodologies.
- Extensive experience in Credit and Lending processes and systems.
- Experience with data and process flow analysis for model implementation.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to influence decision-making and drive results.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to Credit and Lending.
- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
